Elvir Mustafic

FOUNDER | CERTIFIED HIJAMA PRACTITIONER | MENTOR | DIP NURSING

My journey to health began when I became a nurse in 2018.

Despite meeting a wide range of great medical practitioners with people’s best interests in mind, the scope of practice of the modern medical system often meant that the care provided was limited. I was often disheartened as I saw patients being treated for symptoms rather than being assessed holistically. In March 2020, I pursued my interest in natural health and medicine by undertaking a qualification in Hijama Therapy located in Sydney, facilitated by UK Based Hijama Company The Suuk.

Practicing Hijama therapy began as a hobby and passion, but has turned into my career. I opened one of the first Adelaide based dedicated Hijama clinics in 2021. I love that I can help people look at their health holistically, and use the wisdom of hijama therapy to help ease physical discomfort and improve their overall quality of life.

I am always looking for ways to upskill, and am currently furthering my studies in Cupping Therapy with ICAHT (the Institute Of Clinically Applied Holistic Therapy), the leading training provider of professionally accredited CPD training in the field of Cupping Therapy in the UK.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to assist The Suuk as an educator and teach other allied health professionals about hijama therapy. I have also personally mentored other therapists nationwide, both in person and online.

My goal is to improve the health and wellness of my clients by assessing each person’s lifestyle holistically.

I want to empower you to take control of your health, through lifestyle education and complementary therapies.
